🪄 No Time to Talk – There’s Spooky Sh*t to Do!

Today I’m sharing a delightfully spooky scene card that’s perfect for Halloween lovers with a sense of humor. I had so much fun creating this glittery potion room, complete with bubbling brews and a mischievous little voodoo doll.

The Background
I started by trimming a piece of faux glitter cardstock down to 4.25” x 5.5” to fully cover my A2 card front. To create the “room” layout, I die cut a frame from black cardstock and adhered it over the glittery base.
Potions & Shelves
The potion bottles and their pieces were die cut from white cardstock, then colored in with Copic markers for that bright, magical vibe. Once colored, I adhered the pieces together with liquid glue. The shelves were made by partially die cutting so I could get “half” shelves facing different directions — perfect for holding my potions.
The Voodoo Doll
My cute-but-creepy voodoo doll was stamped, Copic-colored, and die cut with its coordinating die. I gave it a stitched-up heart and one button eye for personality. The wizard hat was die cut from black cardstock, with a white backing piece colored in with gray Copics to give it dimension. I adhered the hat right on top of the doll’s head for an extra dose of whimsy.

The Sentiment
For the sentiment, I stamped the phrase “No time to talk. There’s spooky sh*t to do.” onto a die-cut speech bubble and popped it up with foam adhesive. It’s the perfect sassy touch for this magical workspace!
Assembly
I arranged all my elements so each section of the frame highlighted a different part of the scene — potions, shelves, and my voodoo doll. The sentiment and voodoo doll were popped up with foam adhesive for added depth, then the whole panel was adhered to a top-folding A2 card base.

This card has all the glitter, sass, and spook you could want for Halloween crafting — a little creepy, a little cute, and a whole lot of fun!

Would you keep this little voodoo doll on display in your craft room… or lock it away in a drawer? 😉
Thanks for stopping by! Happy haunting :)
