🦖 Dinos Rock the Stage! A Colorful Concert Birthday Card | Featuring Pajama Crafter Stamps

Today, I’m sharing a fun and lively birthday card that’s perfect for any dino-loving music fan! I had such a blast imagining these dinosaurs as little rockstars putting on the concert of a lifetime.

Here’s how this bright and playful card came together:
🎨 Creating the Background
I began by trimming a piece of specialty paper to 4.25” x 5.5”. This instantly set the scene with some extra texture and shine for the background.
Next, I die cut three stars in varying sizes from black cardstock. These bold stars act as a stage and grounding elements for my dinosaur performers.
🦕 Stamping & Coloring the Dinosaurs
All five dinosaurs are from the Pajama Crafter Stamps “Dinomite Birthday” set. I stamped them onto alcohol marker-friendly white cardstock and cut them out using my Brother ScanNCut.
For coloring, I used Copic markers in bright rainbow shades:
Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and a hint of purple
I added white gel pen dots to give each dino extra personality and used a black glaze pen on their eyes to create some shiny dimension.
✂️ Sentiments & Finishing Touches
I stamped and fussy cut the birthday sentiment along with two sets of musical symbols to really drive home the concert vibe.
With all the pieces ready, it was time to assemble:
I adhered the specialty paper to a top-folding A2 card base (4.25” x 11”, scored at 5.5”) with tape runner adhesive.
The black stars were popped up with foam squares, and any overhanging edges were trimmed.
The dinosaurs took the stage next, secured with foam tape to give them plenty of dimension.
I arranged them as if they were mid-performance—some singing, some grooving, all rocking out!
Finally, I added the sentiment and musical notes with more foam tape.
✨ Embellishments
To finish the card, I:
Added white line details with a gel pen for extra pop.
Scattered a few tiny star sequins on and around the black stars using a Quickie Glue Pen.

This card really rang true to my heart as a concert lover. I imagined myself in the front row of this prehistoric show, cheering on each dinosaur as they sang their hearts out!
