Let's Make a Card... featuring Lawn Fawn's Summer 2021 Release!

Lawn Fawn's Summer 2021 release featured a lot of outdoorsy-like products. It also included some birthday products, which is what I picked up (along with a tent die I couldn't resist)! As common as birthdays are, I surprisingly don't have many made up. I keep a list by my desk of cards that I need to create and stock up on and birthday cards are one of them. Anytime recently that I've seen birthday related products that I like, I usually snatch it up.

Lawn Fawn's newest release was no different. I ended up picking up the "Stitched Cupcake" and "Giant Happy Birthday to You" dies, as well as some others. Like my last post, I used the free papers included with my purchase to create this card, along with some cardstock paper I had to match. One technique I used for creating the sentiment was that I die cut it 3x and stacked the die cuts using Elmer's Spray Adhesive - a technique I learned from Laura Bassen. It gives the card some added dimension and interest without trying to cover the entire back of the sentiment with foam tape. I created the cupcake using cardstocks and finished it off with some glitter I had on hand - I should say one of the many because I really don't utilize them enough! I think this is a great masculine card to give to guy for his birthday -- another type of card I need!

What was your favorite products from Lawn Fawn's Summer 2021 release? Do you also find ways to use the free paper included with your orders from Lawn Fawn?

Thanks for stopping by! Happy crafting :)
