A Fresh Focus for Stellar Crafts by Pam: Let’s Craft Our Stash!

If you’ve been following Stellar Crafts by Pam for a while, you may remember Craft Your Stash.

For a while, I was using my Craft Your Stash: Weekly Prompt Challenge list during my live cardmaking sessions. Each week gave us a new reason to dig through our supplies, pull out something we may have forgotten about, and actually use the crafty goodies we’ve collected.

And then… life got hectic.

My content changed, the list got pushed to the side, and Craft Your Stash quietly took a break.

But I’ve been doing a lot of thinking lately about what I want my YouTube channel—and really my crafting in general—to be about.

And I keep coming back to the same thing:

Use What You Have. Make What You Love. Craft Your Stash.

That’s the direction I want to get back to.

Why Craft Your Stash?

As cardmakers, it’s SO easy to get excited about the newest stamps, dies, stencils, inks and crafty tools. I know I do!

But meanwhile, we have drawers, bins and shelves filled with supplies that we once couldn’t wait to use.

Some have never even been opened.

Some were favorites that we haven’t touched in years.

Some are scraps and leftover die cuts that we know we’re going to use someday.

And some we may have completely forgotten we own!

I don’t want Craft Your Stash to be about never buying anything new. I’m still going to get excited about new releases, share unboxings, work with new products and enjoy adding things to my crafty collection.

Instead, I want it to be about enjoying ALL of it.

The new products.

The old favorites.

The forgotten supplies.

The scraps.

The half-finished projects.

The stamp set I had to have and somehow still haven’t opened.

Because what’s the point of having a crafty stash if we aren’t having fun with it?

We’re Restarting the 52 Weeks of Creative Play!

So I’m bringing back my Craft Your Stash: Weekly Prompt Challenge list—and we’re starting it over!

The list includes 52 different challenges designed to get us digging into our crafty supplies and creating with things we already own.

We’ll do things like:

• Use a supply you've never opened

• Create with only 3 colors

• Mix two different stamp sets

• Use a stencil you haven't tried yet

• And lots more!

The original list even ends with a free week where you can simply choose something from your stash that sparks joy.

And because we’re restarting, we’re going back to the beginning together.

Our first challenge will be:

⭐ Week 1: Use a Supply You've Never Opened!

Yes, I’m calling all of us out with that one. 😂

The first few weeks will also have us reaching for leftover die cuts, scraps, hoarded patterned paper and even our oldest ink pads.

Craft Your Stash LIVE Is Back

The 52-week list will help guide my Craft Your Stash LIVE cardmaking sessions on YouTube.

Each week, I’ll choose our Craft Your Stash challenge, pull out supplies that fit the prompt, and we’ll see what we can create.

And I want you to craft along with me!

You don’t need the same stamps, dies, inks or supplies I’m using. In fact, that’s the whole point.

Go into your stash.

Find your forgotten supplies.

And make something you love.

These aren’t meant to be perfectly planned classes where you have to follow along step-by-step. Think of them more as a weekly crafty hangout—a chance for us to make cards, chat, experiment and actually use our supplies.

Some weeks we’ll know exactly where we’re going.

Other weeks… we might figure it out together!

And that’s part of the fun.

What Else Will You See on My YouTube Channel?

Craft Your Stash will be a bigger part of my channel, but that doesn’t mean it’s the only thing you’ll see.

I’ll still be sharing the cardmaking content I enjoy—card shares, unboxings, new products, collaborations, techniques, inspiration and, of course, lots and lots of handmade cards.

The difference is that I want Craft Your Stash to be the heart behind it all.

Even when I’m using something brand new, I can pull older products from my stash to go with it.

New doesn’t have to replace old.

There’s room on the craft table for both!
