Lawn Fawn Sprinkled with Joy & Baked with Love | Happy Birthday Cupcake Card

As I stated in my last blog post, I could not WAIT to play with the Sprinkled with Joy stamp and die sets. One thing I knew when I bought Sprinkled with Joy is that I wanted to put some cupcakes in that oven! Baked with Love is the perfect companion stamp set to Sprinkled with Joy (I'm sure they planned it that way), because of all the little kitchen utensils in addition to the cupcakes.

My husband's birthday is coming up, so with that in mind, I thought I would make this a birthday card, incorporate the oven, and the cupcakes from Baked with Love. This was actually the first oven card I made, so I went a little crazy with accessories, lol, but it was so fun!

The scene I have here is a fox (from LF's Jump for Joy) baking cupcakes. Like me, he means well, but he's made a mess while baking with the flour bag tipped over and flour falling onto the floor. All the dishes and trash are consolidated, but it's still a mess. Inside the oven, a cupcake without frosting is baking. The fox has in his hand a finished cupcake that is frosted with purple icing.

The tag "Open Me" is hanging on the oven to reveal that the card is interactive... then there's a special message hidden inside!

I have yet to see a video showing how to put this oven together, so I am hoping to have some time to make another one of these cards as a tutorial :)

Andddd... just for fun, I'm going to enter this card into Simon Says Anything Goes Wednesday Card Challenge :)

Thanks for stopping by! Happy crafting :)
