NEW VIDEO! 2016 Creating Keepsakes Scrapbook Convention in Lancaster, PA
Woah, it has definitely been a good minute since the last time I've posted on my Blog or YouTube channel. I've been quite busy with learning new things at a new job I started a little over a month ago. I come home from work, and I'm just exhausted. On my days off, I feel like doing absolutely NOTHING; not even crafting!
Well, despite being busy, I still carve out time to attend crafting conventions/expos to take classes, check out new products, and splurge on crafty deals and supplies. I've been going to the Creating Keepsakes Scrapbook Convention (CKC) for the past 2 years now. This year will probably be my last, as I would rather save up my money for the Scrapbook Expo which is held around the same time of year -- it's also more well-known and bigger in my opinion :) I also don't care much for the location of the Lancaster, PA CKC just because it's so hard to find parking and it's located in a city-like district with one-way streets, which I hate driving!
So for my last year at CKC, I took 2 classes with JustRite Papercraft: Cardmaking with Cosmic Shimmer Gilding Flakes and Laying Background Stamps. I really enjoyed both classes and learned some new card-making techniques. Other than the classes, I did some shopping and took advantage of deals offered by the exhibitors.
