MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge 278 | Altenew Ori Kami

For this week's MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge 278, I decided to pull a fairly new stamp set that I had yet to use, which is Altenew's Ori Kami stamp set.

In my previous post, I talked about how "creativity never sleeps" and how my first attempt on a card went sour, and a new idea didn't spark until 2am. Well, this is the outcome of that new inspiration, and I'm pretty stoked how it came out! I can't wait to give it to its recipient :)

First attempt: I didn't care for the bars of cardstock in the center because it reminded me too much of a flag, as least with the way I interpreted it!

Second attempt: Used a new color palette (with the assistance of a color wheel) and created a tone-on-tone, multi-stamp background using Versamark ink.
