Limited Edition SSS Halloween Card Kit | Ghostly Greetings Halloween Cards (part 2)

Is it much of a surprise that I had so much fun making those simple Halloween cards from the SSS Ghostly Greetings card kit that I just HAD to make more? AND, I still have more coming, but will probably just share pix on instagram ;)

First, this is my ghost card :) I created a background using the stencil from the kit. I first used some gray distress ink on watercolor paper and just blending the entire piece. Then I placed the stencil onto the paper and tapped the black distress ink over the stencil, which left gray tree branches and a darker background. I finished off the edges of the paper with more black distress ink after cutting it down to size. I then used some patterned paper and black cardstock from the kit to create a matte around my background piece. I adhered a strip of ribbon (included in the kit) around the background piece and tied a separate bow that I attached with a glue dot. I created the sentiment using 1 Halloween stamp set from Lawn Fawn "have a ___ halloween" (I cut out the middle word and then I used a Lawn Fawn alphabet set to make the word "bootiful" to create a pun to match my ghost :) I finished off the card with some orange Nuvo dots, which BTW, I messed up a bunch of times and had to redo them because I kept touching them while they were still wet! Anyone else have that problem?! Anyway, then I added my ghost and put some doodlebug eyes on him for dimension :)

For the next card, I wrapped some micropore tape around a piece of gray cardstock from the kit. I then diecut a gray stitched banner from an MTF die and created the sentiment "some MUMMY loves you!" with a Lawn Fawn alphabet set and stamped that at the bottom of the banner. I attached some patterned paper from the kit to some black cardstock creating a matte border, then adhered my mummy to the patterned paper. I finished him off with some doodlebug eyes, and finished off the whole card with some PPP clear sparkling sequins!
